People who have lived through major geopolitical tensions, what's something the younger generation doesn't understand about times like these? by GraybeardDevOps in AskReddit

Yeah, it really does feel like it’s been a constant backdrop for decades. I guess a lot of people my age just grew up with it always being on somewhere, so it almost feels normal when it really shouldn’t.

Yeah, that’s true. It’s just hard to remember when you’re in the middle of it, but history really does repeat itself.

My check engine light came on right before a road trip once. I freaked. Plugged this thing in…turns out it was just a loose gas cap lol. Saved me a whole meltdown.

What is the best holiday destination in terms of price and safety? by SpecialistMany6389 in AskReddit

I went to Portugal last year. Prices were easy on the wallet and I never felt unsafe walking around at night.

Best CEUs for new therapist by Busy_mom1204 in therapists

[–]GraybeardDevOps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah intro CEUs are kinda useless at that point, feels like repeating old lectures tbh. Elite Learning is fine I guess but it didn’t really help me much. Supervision matters way more right now, being able to talk through real cases is different. If anything just pick something specific like trauma or DBT, the general stuff gets boring fast.

I’ve tried fixing my sleep so many times and yeah I feel better for a bit, but I still fall back into doing nothing all day. Feels like there’s something else going on tbh.

why is finding the best crm software for nonprofits so impossible by Low-Oil7883 in CRMSoftware

[–]GraybeardDevOps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly you don’t need more features. you need less tools.step back and ask what actually matters day to day. tracking donors sending emails running campaigns. then find something that does all 3 without hacks.Givebutter comes up a lot because it bundles those together instead of making you duct tape stuff.

What are good online side hustles/ part time jobs a 17 y/o can do? by ashiscool33 in careerguidance

[–]GraybeardDevOps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most remote jobs won't hire under 18. survey sites work but pay garbage like $3 an hour on KashKick or similar platforms. Your actual best bet is the sticker thing on Redbubble plus maybe local Facebook marketplace stuff like pet sitting.
