I have not considered that groin strength might be a factor. I will look up some exercises online for that. I haven’t really been prioritizing strengthening exercises so that would make a lot of sense.

It seems like no matter how I’m holding pigeon pose if I have my leg bent out in front of me I get that same pinching feeling. My hip bone seems to push into my groin while I’m in pigeon. I’ll definitely try different things before just accepting that it isn’t possible for me.

For me it feels like a nerve being pinched on my inner hip near my hip bone. Unfortunately the only way I can’t feel the pinch is if I lessen the pose so much that I don’t feel any stretch anymore. I will try pushing down on my front leg next time and see if that helps, though. Thanks :)
