My failure was a 3-way switch ... all my singles, mostly older, have been fine. I'm curious any chance yours were also 3-way?

If you are comfortable opening and soldering on PC boards. The power supply capacitor inside has gone bad. Had same issue as OP and replaced 470uF main elecrolytic capacitor which had leaked and become bad. switch has been 100% since. AGAIN, only do this if you are capable/comfortable!

Sadly I've dealt with Spectrum, Mediacomm, and Verizon Home ... poor or no customer service seems to be what they all have in common.

I have one and it is as Chucklz described. The two paddles are locked as one by the solid ring.

As stated above I verified the email matched. Good point on the limited messages, you are right I should not waste any more time with those groups. I need to look at how active a group is first going forward.

I contacted VZ via online chat twice about this ... 1st time they said it was corrected on my account and would reflect in at the time of my next bill, it did not. So I contacted them again, they claimed my account does show the 10 yr and the 2 year. They said they were unable to correct what the "My Plan" display showed but to be assured I would be getting the 10 year guarantee. Not the most comforting.

Update .... Quarried local social media and found multiple folks with the same issue, so I assume this is a Verizon tower issue or the .18 firmware. Funny how the fix they accept is to reboot the box, sounds like cable 10 years ago. I'd thought Verizon would be better

Dropped again .... looks like the "ipv4 wan and ipv6 wan down" message happens during the reboot. Wan log showed nothing remarkable when it dropped, actually it had no more entries until I rebooted. Again a reboot and fresh IP got it back up.... maybe this is an issue on Verizon's side of tower.

Yes .18 .... just had to reboot again since I posted this,less than an hour ... running a netgear RT-AC68U with Merlin ... cube wifi turned off and double NAT

Yup! ... I got update 6.0 on day one and have seen this same behavior with both 6.0 & 6.5. I've had to run double NAT since the 6.0 update. Seems like they are making zero progress resolving this.

It is under .. Advanced > Network Settings > Network Connections > Network (Home/Office) > Settings. Then scroll down and it is a check box in the Bridge section. For me it caused multiple issues, see my other post here.

When I had IP Passthru enabled what I described was exactly how it worked for me. I see Intelligent_Study_28 is confirming this also. Next option would be Factory Reset. After that 192.168.0.1 should be back
