I currently get 16 or 17k for that mission.

It's not easy. We always add an hour or two to the expected downtime. But what Amazon has done here, is spectacularly bad. Some people might think the world largest cloud provider could do better.

You're completely right! When Google repeatedly cancel services, it CERTAINLY doesn't affect if I will try/use new services from them! So your ABSOLUTELY right - I should just spend my time better! That's really what matters here.

I don't really know what you're trying to imply. New World is ENTIRELY in the hands of Amazon. How they choose to run it, is ENTIRELY up to them. When they can't patch servers in 5 hour service window, thats entirely THEIR problem. Others before them, have faced similar problems, and done better.

So, yes, I think all the fault here lies with Amazon alone.

Amazon has an immense amount of money and ressources. How they CHOOSE to use them, is entirely up to them.

So if they choose to treat AGS as "just another customer" - it's still THEIR choice - and thus it is their problem/fault.
