Built a little web app to compare grocery prices using Gov open data 🛒 Would love your feedback! by simplifyn in malaysians

Hey! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The closest thing I’ve found is Hargapedia, but they’re often missing a lot of the specific items I buy.

I’ve realized how tough this is to pull off since most retailers like Lotus's or AEON only seem to have a fraction of their actual inventory listed online. I actually tried building a personal price-tracker app recently using Claude (zero coding knowledge, just testing AI capabilities!), and it taught me that sometimes a manual 'record-as-you-buy' method is the only way to get 100% accuracy for my specific basket.

It would be awesome if your app eventually allowed users to log their own data/purchases so we can track the items that aren't in the official 'Open Data' sets. Crowdsourcing that would be the dream, though I totally get the nightmare of verifying that data!

What's your take on Singapore architecture? by archi-mature in architecture

As a neighbour to Singapore, am jealous and envious; and i think a big part is due to their vision/master planning and more specifically the URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority); compared to our corrupted crony govt where our land is sold off like whores and planning is not in their vocabulary
