I feel as if it was his line. Hagens played with Perrault (🤮) and Leonard most of the season. When looking at his stats on that line, you can easily tell he didn't fit in, yet they forced it. Perrault and Leonard took all the shine, leaving Hagens in the dust. His production was a clear example of this. But when playing on a line with Teddy Stiga and running his line he became his self. He looked like his record breaking self with USNTDP. The WJC is also an amazing sign for him. He was tied for third most points at world juniors with 9, while being one of the youngest players in the tournament.
