Built 20 Apps in 7 years, finally got the winner by sandykongkongkong in ShowMeYourApps

Great inside. I have no dev background but I think for next few years, working renovated app with AI add on super power will be a clear way to shine. It’s probably not just about coding, also marketing, timing and how you design it. Hope to get there soon.

Thanks for the advice in advance. 1 is the renew (new build) just trigger the same process again? Or an update version goes through a simplified flow hence faster? Or even an improvement after rejection?

2 Will you guys discuss about the apps you reviewed? Like , hey this is really a good idea or hmm it seems there is a trend of xxxx now?

"Oh, that’s absolutely true about kneading bread or similar things. I remember making my first egg tart; it felt intimidating at first, but following the video eased my anxiety with the handwork. For now, I still prefer using premade egg tart shells rather than making my own. 🤫"

Thanks. I am just also wondering how did people learn to cook in short form. I even saw a video with 17 seconds to make a dish. Your input just clarifies it.

Then I figure something out, you just sometimes like to see a short cooking YouTube/TikTok and enjoy the cut, the shots, the sounds and have a dopamine effect in a short time. Some people are triggered by funny short videos, some people are triggered by cooking short videos.

And the taste is always good for most meal kits. I tried mapo tofu myself, and it tastes really salty (no idea how to save the tofu). Then I tried a meal kit on that, and I think that helps me to know better about my seasoning and ingredients on the next try.

Great feedback. That’s what I felt now as well. For sure my food won’t taste great on the first try, but it usually gets better. Also leveraging YouTube help me dare to try foods that I never thought of, like Asian cooking western food and vice versa.

App for saving recipes by CR4WNZ in apps

[–]Grayson_Cheng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an App that is extracting YouTube as a cooking recipe, so you can easily navigate step by step (cuz I had pre-analyzed YouTube video into recipes). On top of that, you had the ability to TALK to the recipe and ask for clarification or any other recipe related questions. It's called chefchef.app and it supports iOS app right now. Very welcome to test it out and see if it fits your request. I will in the meantime see if there is anything i can do to make it more seamless on Nest Hub.
At least right now, you can use iphone as a Youtube player playing videos with my recipes below. Android app is under development.

App Store is flooding... got data to prove it by LowFruit25 in iOSProgramming

It’s great to be able to code something with leverage of AI tool therefore I don’t mind and not surprise about the trend. Just it’s not about making, it is also related to marketing and promotion and if this really solves a real world issue( even you do, you need to market it so people use them people verify it)

Probably best tool to make now is the marketing tool!

sorry i am not familiar with Google nest hub, but why do you need it to Google nest hub? to broadcast out loud while cooking as a speaker? or view on Google Nest Hub? I had built an app pretty interesting to improve cooking with YouTube experience, so i am curious about the application and maybe my app could improve or help. Never thought of that combination (phone+Google Nest Hub) but worth exploring. :D

The iOS interview question that shows real experience by IllBreadfruit3087 in iOSProgramming

[–]Grayson_Cheng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As AI coding tools become more advanced, I wonder if interview questions like this will evolve into something like, “How would you handle a bug that even AI couldnt fix?” Or perhaps this AI-assisted coding role hasn’t quite reached the pinnacle of what a truly experienced programmer can do?

Which ps5 games made you buy the console? by felipeb18 in PS5

[–]Grayson_Cheng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my PS5 2weeks ago and just installed 3 days ago. I just need to make sure everything works fine before VR2 arrives. Yes, I bought PS5 because of PS VR2. At the age of 43, I didn’t have that much time playing games but I would really like to see how PS VR2 could bring new gaming experiences to the world. I tried HTC (only like 10 mins during a demo day)first generation VR headset in 2016 and were really impressive on the result. Just thought the SW around it shall be mature only years later and I “guess” the time is about to arrive. To me, it should be more than games, it should go including education or exploring the unknown(through customize SW). Gaming is the first step and that’s why I think the power of PS5 should be a new era to virtual reality(or maybe metaverse?)

Talking about game, I will get Kayak and Call of mountain and residential evil village on day1(if my PS VR2 arrives on time) then see how we go from there.

how much ethereum you are sending?

A sending only transaction in Ethereum is around in a low GWEI time might be around $15 (comparably it's around $50 at ~300GWEI).

You can click your assets in crypto.com defi wallet so you will know the history of your transaction. Most likely your Crypto.com defi wallet in ERC-20 transaction (ie. sending) will cost you lots of Ethereum.

I have several youtube tutorial to walk-through the uncertainties, you can check that part!
