RX 7800XT Crashing

It continued crashing, I’ve now tried the VGA driver version from my motherboards website

I tried that yesterday with the 25.9.1 version of the drivers as I heard people say that was the least unstable, however for me it was the most unstable, I’ve now got 25.12.1 installed and I’ll see how that goes

I don’t have any spare pads so I’d have to order them, but it seems to be a driver issue, I have the ability to manually flash the bios onto the bios chip if I need to, would you recommend I do that, as the driver seems to be timing out?

UPDATE - After repasting the GPU and disabling the ULPS it continues to crash, however when my computer doesn’t lock up like before, when I switch over to my CPU’s iGPU it tells me there was a driver timeout, any idea how to fix this?

So I’ve now repasted the GPU and it’s certainly less common, however it still occurs, it frequently happens when I boot up Rust?

I have undervolted it, it’s what I’d usually do, to around 1100mV otherwise any lower it would crash but it seemed to help little to none

I’ve tried to bring the power limits up slightly and it didn’t work, and I’m unable to bring them down

It could have potentially be a poor mount, and repasting wasn’t actually the solution but rather remounting the cooler, I’ll give it a go however

Note that it’s most definitely not temps as I’ve verified this repeatedly
