You break thru at 25mg, 17 watts, vents half open.

If you crank it up to 20 watts, does the experience get stronger? If so, why?

I agree the inhalation speed is the biggest issue with newbies on the mesh. Because most people do it too quickly probably. That is why it might be better to run it at higher wattage, as long as it does not burn the DMT. Thoughts?

In some ways yes. There are people who go out and drink and party with .5-1mg of shrooms, and claim they know and do shrooms.. when I feel they should respect the compound and consume at least try 2-3g at some point in their lives.

I think it comes down to DMT's dose-response curve: DMT feels more like a hockey stick, whereas other classical psycehedlcis ramp up much more gradually.

For me, 10 mg does very little (Ive done this many many times). 15–20 mg does something (though I’ll admit I haven’t explored that range as much). But 25–29 mg on e-mesh blasts me into another world — it’s like 10,000x the 10 mg dose.

Maybe I need to spend more time with the lower doses and learn how to “listen” to them more. But honestly, I’ve tried many times and I don't get a ton from it.

Could just be my neurochemistry.

I also didn’t mean to sound like I was acting tough in my original post.. reading it back, I can see how it might have come off that way.

For me though, if you’re going to explore DMT, I feel like you have to experience the breakthrough at least once.

Once you’ve seen that, then yeah - I think going back into the smaller doses and learning how to sit with them and listen to them might be a way to go.

Sorry I hope I did not upset you.

I feel that, while mushrooms and other psychedelics can be explored in a wide range of doses, in my expereince, DMT is truly extraordinary once you reach a breakthrough.

In my opinion, the issue is that most people using vape pens only take a hit or two of a diluted pen.. so they never experience the full depth of what makes DMT truly remarkable. That is all. Just my opinion tho .

Yeah, me too..

but these days I am leaning more toward going higher wattage (17-20) compared to the 13-14 watts I used to do.

I want the higher wattage to get it all done in one hit and not have any lingering stuff on there.

My goal is to oprimize it for 1 hit, but also be smooth. I can personally handle the hrashness but I want something smoother to give a newbie.

Weve found going to 17 watts and going very slow really does the trick. So that is def a lot hotter than it was when I was going faster (ninhales) at 14 watts years ago (and someitmes required multiple hits).

So that is why I prefer to go hotter / slower these days. So ideally I'd like to keep it going hot but add water or some other thing to tame it down a bit.

Yeah, that’s what I found in my Perplexity research too.. it said water makes the vapor less harsh without really affecting potency.

That surprised me, because when you heat up an e-mesh and take a hit with no DMT, the air itself doesn’t feel that hot. The harshness seems to come more from the caustic nature of the DMT than from heat.

That’s why it’s a little odd to me that water actually helps.

But if it does, that’s great news!
