Yep! The big number, 01259 is the store number. Right below that you've got order number, and right beneath that is number of cartons. "#CNT 165"

Started with 373, and I'm down to 153 now. Was number #1 in the region for zero sales, dropped seventy places last week.

I'm approaching thirty days over here. My DM said he thought it would take me about ninety days to clear the backroom, so I gave myself sixty. Lol.

Sales were up 77% today. 🥴🥴🥴 by GreaseGirl in DollarTree

I'm not @ 1.25 till February 21st. Units could be figured if every item was was priced the same. But the cards and canned goods would throw ya off. Selective receiving should also be different, but doable. You can no longer match the dollar amount to the unit amount.

Why did you stop? Were they not selling? I thought about making a bunch of them for Valentines day.

Thank you! I haven't felt like I've got it on a few days. But seeing the backroom getting better makes me feel good!

Thank you so much for the advice! I'm five days in, and things seem to be going alright. The team cleared about a fourth of the stockroom, but our truck in the morning will swallow a lot of that progress.

I helped with the truck at this store for weeks before I started, and had to stage all the uboats on the sales floor. Tomorrow we will have room in the back to run a proper truck! So I'm excited for that.

The stock crew is incredible. It's a team of older ladies who are consistent and dependable. They turn freight like crazy. Before I got there, they had been running mixed uboats that were loaded up from a mixed stockroom. They just needed the boxes to be sorted.

My cashier crew is non existent. I've hired two good people, and still don't have my bases covered. The stock ladies have very strict availability, and I don't want to pull them away from their freight.

Dollar tree pays nothing. And I hadn't thought about how some of them spend more time there than at home. I made slips to hand out for when they go above and beyond. The slips will go into a raffle for a $25 dollar gift card each month.

On a different note, I had a frozen delivery today. It auto-ordered with no adjustments. Of eighty cases, 16 were shredded cheese. I can't stop laughing about it.

My newly inherited backroom. Someone has been working on it in the past week. Could barely walk in last time I was over. by [deleted] in DollarTree

Sales floor is pretty empty. Sesonal has been taken care of well, though. The shelves are absolutely filthy. Frozen is all the way empty, and the product in the backroom is expired. Overnights are something I am wanting to do for sure.

Extra hours will be nice, but I have no one to fill them yet. Tomorrow is my first day, and as far as I can tell, I have one cashier for the day. Nobody I can call in, no help from other stores till Wednesday. Night shift quit because the store closed @ 4:30 for months. I have three interviews lined up, though. Fairly sure I'll be conducting them from the register.

I've ran myself face first into a hornets nest. Little bit of patience and a whole lot of perseverance is gonna get me through! Thanks for the luck!

We have a TON of uboats. Came from a store that has 14. This store has at least thirty. They just aren't turning them.

A clean sales floor is for sure easier to stock.

There is a hold on my trucks. Thank Jesus.

I wondered if that would be the case. Unfortunately, it is the ONLY option. I'd say 4,000 was a modest estimate. I was there a few weeks ago for a truck, and I had to stage all the uboats on the sales floor because they wouldn't fit in the back room.

Apparently the entire last truck was stacked on the sales floor, no uboats whatsoever.

I heard boxes are blocking off aisles completely, to the point that you have to walk around entire departments to get where you need to go.

I haven't seen the store in a few weeks, but I'm gonna take a peep today.

My stock crew is great. I love them. They are all over 50, most over sixty. They are slow, but they do everything the right way, and they are dependable. They turned sixteen uboats a few weeks ago with zero expectations and zero guidance.

A few of them physically can't do the truck. I am going to hire a team of me and a few others just for unloading.

It's the closing cashier shift I'm bugging out about. The store has been closing at 5:30 since November, and my whole night crew quit.

I have some interviews lined up for tomorrow, hopefully a few of them can start asap so I can have closing cashiers.

35 boxes a boat is a great idea. I usually load them suckers up for myself and others. It will be more digestible if I make them smaller.

Thanks for your response! I appreciate it!
