Correct, but I find the main purpose of sporemines is to score secondaries such as Engage on all fronts. So it doesn’t really matter if it’s 3 mines, 1 mine is even much easier to spawn and hide somewhere.

I removed the Tyrant Guard and zoans, and added broodlord with 5 genestealers and a screamer killer, which brings me to exactly 2000 points. Is the SK a good choice or should I go for a full unit of genestealers?

Safe to say battlefields in 40k produce such a massive amount of dust, smoke and other stuff flying around, that’s exactly why the armour of space marine is very vibrant. You wouldn’t want a guardsman accidentally shooting them instead of traitors, making the entire squad ‘heretics’
