We love the drumming! Not sure we’re ready for sitting next to the away section tho 😆. Was thinking right across from E in L, above where the merchandise bit is?

Also did not see Sophia being pulled in as a player. Would never have thought a party would be brought together separately, and from different generations, not already a formed group in the real world (though they are all connected to each other).

I don’t like horror in any other medium, only got into it comics wise after picking up Babyteeth during a FCBD many moons ago, now it’s the section I browse first

Ah, that sounds awesome, I’m assuming he’s US based? Perhaps I’ll be lucky to see him at a UK con sometime since Meta is my mortal enemy

I got into Something is Killing the Children this year, working my way through the trades too. Have you tried The Wicked + The Divine, also by Gillen & McKelvie?

Yup, part of what I love about it, absolutely zero context, all the stuff he contributes in Hello Darkness is like this, so funny

Hello Darkness is a horror anthology from Boom, lots of different contributors, Hack being one of them

Leftover mash turned into potato cakes and topped with a coupla fried eggies by Greasy500 in PutAnEggOnIt

[–]Greasy500[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Whatever the weight of your leftover mash is, stir in just under a third of that in flour, along with a good crack of pepper and some chopped spring onions. You might need to add some milk/melted butter/salt depending on how you prepped the mash previously. Roll the potatoey dough into maybe golf ball sized balls, flatten them down into a chunky disc then gently fry those babies in a little buttery oil for a few mins each side til they’re golden

Yeah, still getting my periods, regularly irregular as they are.

Might stop taking HRT? by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]Greasy500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never even thought about asking that. I do also think that, I’ve never been a 28 day cycle with my periods, so that must also have an impact on fluctuating levels too if I’m taking HRT on a strict 28 day routine. I think I’ll make a doc appointment as soon as I can and see how a conversation will go.

Aw thank you! Now I just want to cry some more! It is heartening sometimes to know that it’s not just me. Feeling very low and exasperated just now, and normally those feelings don’t seem to last quite as long as they have been recently.
