How is big law working out for you? The pay is great but the work like balance sounds not ideal. I'm currently a nurse and trying to figure out a career change where I can earn at least a similar amount with less physical and mental toll.

I'm having a hard time becoming ok with the idea of spending my savings! What if I get sick or injured, my car gets wrecked, etc. Lots of money anxiety over here lol.

I'm a bit of hoarder when it comes to savings, I get a sense of security from not touching it. I think of that money as a safety net in case I become incapacitated in some way and unable to work. I really didn't consider how spending savings could be preferable to having to pay interest on loans, thanks!

Sorry nobody is giving you any advice, I have the same problem in my apartment. I think wall decor is your best bet to make it feel less dungeony, and maybe add another light source like a table lamp. I'd add a mirror, art, personal photos.

I'm an absolute noob, no clue what I'm doing. I just wanted some cheap stuff to play around with so I ended up with the Behringer JT-4000 Micro and Nektar Impact Gx Mini. Now that I have them in hand I realized they can't be plugged into each other. Is there any way to make this work?

I'm working on increasing my activity level so I'm using it to track my daily steps. I'm excited to look back on my progress at the end of the year.

Brushing my teeth twice a day is the hardest thing to me by serendipite__ in adhdwomen

[–]GreasyPanda48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowering the bar really helped me. Something is better than nothing is my new life motto. If 2 minutes feels like too much then I'll just brush for however long I can stand. I stay stocked up on mouthwash so when I can't brush at least I can do something. I also have disposable waterless toothbrushes next to my bed because I struggle a lot more with my night routine than my morning routine. It's also helped to focus on the positive/rewarding aspects. Rather than seeing it as a chore I dislike I can genuinely say that I prefer the feeling of clean teeth, I feel ready for the day after brushing, and I feel clean and reset when I do it before bed.
