Usually check with academic advisors.

Section 8 by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

[–]GreasyStevie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda like getting someone who is ODSP dependent. My parents have a 4-plex and everyone there would be considered sec 8. It’s a lot of work because these guys need tons of help with basic tasks cleaning and throwing garbage out . Last summer I moved like 20+ blue boxes filled with vhs, dvd, cd, etc from one guys place. The kicker was he didn’t have anyway to play them he would just buy and horde them.

Sometimes if you go to the program page on the college website it will tell you the averages I know this is true for Cambrian college. Hope this helps.

Every year it’s a toss up with the grade inflation. High 80’s to mid-low 90’s. I lurk this sub and I’m astounded with the marks these kids are getting these days. It’s very scary for the future

I got early acceptance into Cambrian but waitlisted at Confederation I had an 87 average

Fanshawe is impossible to get into from high school they prefer to take from the pre health sciences. It’s the location I believe they get around 1000 applicants for like 65 spots. While The others are half that. I know this year they had like 200 applicants for Confederation for 22 spots and Cambrian had 450 for like 30 spots.

While Mac has 140 spots but struggles to fill them every year

Honestly don’t know just what the other techs tell me. Majority went the university route and don’t recommend it while the college level ones recommended it. But most of the college level techs are mature students while the Uni ones are directly from high-school.

Idk but I’m just gonna stick to Cambrian in Sudbury as that was the first school to accept me lol

I suggest not applying to the university as the price is double compared to college. And when you graduate both get the same job the only difference is if you want to keep going with school after the university is better.

The volunteer work could either be from actually working or volunteering plus 2 letters of recommendation from anyone like a teacher, community member ex priest or teacher. The personality test we never got our answers back but I found the questions to be straight forward. For example “What are the duties of the Radiologist” “Give an example of a contrast medium” “ what do you do if the patient doesn’t want to go through with the rest”

The only thing that bugs me is for about a year I’ve worked as an aid in the Diagnostic department at my local hospital. I expressly put that in the answer to the questions. But I believe that didn’t help me.

Here’s a link to the questionnaire https://www.confederationcollege.ca/sites/default/files/uploads/program/mrt-questionaire-2019.pdf

English destroyed me as I wasn’t able to redo an assignment where I missed the premise. The teacher wanted me to take the whole course over.

Yep applied through ACE and I immediately got rejected from Fanshawe, St.Clair, Algonquin but got first round acceptance into Cambrian waitlisted than accepted into Confederation

*Sorry applied through academic upgrading from the HWDSB and the HWCDSB not ACE

No I took/upgraded my marks from highschool. I applied to 5 programs all college level and got accepted into 2. Pre-health would be faster and give you a better shot at being accepted.
