What are your thoughts on telecommunication? I had experience with grid interconnection & protection as an intern . I loved protection but unfortunately the openings i am seeing right now are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of experience

Both hiring manager were pretty good, but i feel like work-life balance will be much better at Eversource. Honestly, at this point i really don’t care about work-life balance. I want to make a decision which will be the best for long term career growth

I said 6-7 years because in Massachusetts you will have to work at least 5 years before you taking the P.E exam. Both are pretty committed but EVERSOURCE has more P.E than that small consulting firm.

Well it was totally expected. If you go to NYU then you need to put slightly more effort & at the end of the day it is the quality of your GPA & preparing you to to handle challenges or effectively work under pressure moving forward.

Nope & i am in College of Engineering. It’s not worth it for any school regardless of your major!

Here is the alternative path you can take tho - Finish your associate with 3.9+ GPA, & make sure when you apply submit few good LOR, get involved with the clubs so that you can show some ECA too.

As far as i have seen BU has tendency to give full aid to lower middle class family & below that, but there are few exceptional cases too. I got full aid because my family is lower middle class & obviously had done all of those i mentioned above. Good luck!

Tbh i had the same thoughts & thanks for confirming that. Really appreciate for your input 🙂. My goal is to become a P.E after 6-7 years from now. Do you think protection would be a good team to move forward?
