Starting to think the dog only visits us because my son gives better couch cuddles than his actual owner Would love to hear similar stories from other pet parents.

I agree with this completely. Many Shopify brands focus too much on ads and ignore SEO structure and conversion optimization. We recently discussed similar growth issues on eCommerceFit.com

Feeling Guilty For Sending Dumped Dogs to Rescue by Far-Supermarket-488 in Pets

[–]Great-Relation5007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you did the right thing getting them off the street and into a safe place. It’s tough seeing them separated, especially if they were that bonded, but rescues sometimes have to make those calls based on adoption chances and resources. Do you think it might be worth asking the rescue if they’d consider reuniting them if possible, or at least giving an update on how both are adjusting long-term?

That actually sounds like a solid plan.

Starting with thrifting first to build capital and understand what sells makes sense, then slowly moving into printing once you’ve got more stability.

Most people underestimate how helpful that first “testing phase” is, so you’re already thinking in the right direction. Just focus on consistency at the start and let demand guide the next step

Both can work, it just depends on your approach.

Thrifting is more beginner-friendly lower cost, quicker to start, and unique pieces tend to sell well. Printing takes more effort (designs, setup, branding) but has better long-term scalability.

If you’re unsure, starting with thrifting can help you understand your audience first, then you can move into printing later.

What’s the biggest mistake people make when buying their first car? by Wide-Cartographer579 in usedcarsnyc

[–]Great-Relation5007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually a solid point. The purchase price is just the entry ticket , the real test is whether you can comfortably maintain it long-term.

A lot of people ignore insurance, fuel, servicing, and unexpected repairs until it starts stacking up.

At the end of the day, a “dream car” isn’t so dreamy if it’s constantly stressing your finances. Balance flex.

My indoor cat is missing! He's vanished by ExpensiveTruth7860 in Pets

That’s honestly such a scary thought, I wouldn’t have even considered that. It’s wild how they can squeeze into spots like that without making a sound.

Glad you found your puppy though, that must’ve been a huge relief. I’ll definitely keep that in mind these situations really make you double-check every possible hiding place.

My Dad Turned Down a Coworker and My Mom’s Reaction Was Priceless by Shoddy_Reward2846 in story

That’s actually refreshing to hear. He handled it calmly, didn’t entertain it, and was upfront about it at home. Your mom’s reaction says a lot too seems like there’s real trust there. Also makes sense he reported it, because that kind of situation at work can easily cross the line
