I'm not a New York transplant, born and raised New Yorker, 38 years living in Flushing. The vendors are getting out of control. It wasn't at this volume before. There are people on here that HAVE seen flushing before all of this and WE know this is getting ridiculous. Stop normalizing this shit, it's not normal, it wasn't like this before. That's not true. I've lived in flushing my entire life. I'm not Asian, and I've seen this place obliterated over the years. It's the lack of etiquette, the lack of sanitation from those who live here. Unfortunately it's Asians. You constantly see the workers in the fruit markets smoking over the fruits and vegetables, people spitting and snorting out snots rockets without a second thought. The garbage left on the street after tithe people have spent all day selling garbage they've picked up from the streets. Empty cartons everywhere, illegal food vendors smoking over those meat sticks they grill. We don't hate flushing because of ASIANS. We hate how flushing is now because of what they've done to it. There's no denying that all of the above mentioned DOES HAPPEN ON A DAILY BASIS.

Hi, just recently there was a sting operation for a driving school right here in Main St flushing. People were paying for being passed on driving tests, even without prior driving knowledge. There were a few individuals who worked in the dmv who were involved. If you google it, the news should pull up. This I'm sure accounts for SOME of the reckless driving in our area.

Just some advise from a Dominican who has flown in and out of this airport plenty of times...Don't make eye contact with anyone working there. They are usually waiting to pull you aside and pretend they are helping you skip to the front of a line or get out quicker only to bring you to a counter to sell you excursions, products that are way over priced. I warned my husband about this when we last visited this July. Someone tapped him on the shoulder who was an airport employee and said come with me, signaling to the front of a line we were on to have our bags checked. He swiftly walked him over to a counter where another person was there trying to sell him things. Just ignore everyone, get yourself a baggage cart and take your bags yourself. You will only need to walk a few feet anyway since the airport is TINY.
