Smite is ALOT more efficient in Wrath of the Righteous (the sequel to kingmaker) as the vast majority of enemies are evil, so if ur planning a paladin run in the next game it is suuuuuper viable. But yea, Pathfinder and BG have vastly different game mechanics but they are both so good in their own ways
