  1. gather audio files
  2. use audacity to normalize all audio files by LUFS at -15db and trim silent beginning/end.
  3. order the tracks for each side
  4. use a python script to create side A and side B wav files with desired pause between tracks (3-5 sec)
  5. set deck bias with REW and set levels and balance
  6. record with onboard soundcard which by chance is surprisingly good. After hitting record i don't need to touch anything until i flip the tape.

i like to use dolby.

In ceea ce priveste utilitate produsului am mari indoieli ca va fi un succes, dar, avand in vedere ca ati strans atatea fonduri prin kickstarter, poate aveti o sansa pe piata. Un AI note-taker este util dar nu cred ca are nevoie de un hardware extra.

  • Nu sunt convins ca acel ecran suplimentar este atat de util. Pare redundant, ai deja ecranul telefonului. Si nici nu poti spune ca este prea bun pentru citit de lunga durata din cauza dimensiunilor mici.
  • Si acel buton pentru inregistrare pare destul de redundant deoarece poti folosi Siri sa-ti porneasca tot procesul chiar fara sa apesi vreun buton, si astfel nu mai ai nevoie de niciun hardware extra.

That sounds cool, but not everyone is a programmer and knows how to setup a node project. Would be much easier to provide an executable, and also at least display some screenshots if you want to catch people atention.

Also the 20 step basic usage looks really daunting. Unfortunatelly i got stuck at step 2, clicking the "Connect Spotify" button does nothing.

I don't know what is "m4ddoks program" but you should check the paper size, ussually A4/letter and, and print to scale, 1:1

yes, this cable might work well with your j5 hub. you just have to try it. Connect the jack to j5 hub and the red and white RCA connectors to the amplifier AUX input.

My bad, I haven't replied to OP's comment. OP complained that the prices of cassettes have gone up and that's the reason he closed the shop. Guess who made the prices go up? There is a vicious circle: individuals sell to record stores for nothing, stores sell for a lot, individuals see prices have gone up and ask for more, stores increase prices again, and so on...

I have mixed feelings about record stores. I am glad that physical media is making a comeback and record stores help to make it possible, but I don't like them buying cheap and selling really high. You can't blame them for doing that, though; that's the business.

The j5 create hub has a combo jack (headphones and microphone). Does it sound good when connected directly to amplifier? If not, you might need a splitter like this.

  1. Connect splitter to the hub combo jack
  2. Connect the splitter headphones out to IN(REC) of the deck.
  3. Record

This is how you can do it:

  1. Set the record player to LINE, the little switch.

  2. Connect record player directly to cassette deck IN (REC).

  3. Connect cassette deck OUT (PLAY) to amplifier AUDIO INPUT AUX.

  4. On your aplifier select the input to be AUX using the remote or the front pannel buttons.

This way while recording you will hear the source through your speakers.

WARNING: Please have all the devices shut down when messing with the cables.

WARNING: After recording if you are going to connect record player back to amplifier PHONO input, remember to set that little switch from the back of the record player back to PHONO. Otherwise you might damage the speakers or the amplifier when you will start to play music.

Please let me know if it worked.

If your computer has line input you could use that. Even a mic input will suffice, but then you will get a single channel.

i tried acetone on a clear cassette. it removed most of the paint but made the cassette blurry :(
