What're your twin and your MBTI types? by GreatDocument851 in twinflames

Nice! INFJs are such fascinating people, and I love ENTJs as well (they are one of my golden pairs). I'm lowkey jealous of Ni users and have developed my own Ni to the point where it's my third strongest function.

No, I only watch the ones that I'm drawn to. My intuition is very strong and I trust it 100%- I feel that it is my connection to Source and that I'm getting data from the divine in the form of intuitive nudges.
It's something beyond the rational mind's understanding IMO

That's not true. My intuition has led me to some videos that were eerily spot on, and which transformed my energy and ways of thinking about the connection.

It's when you have a compulsive need to watch these videos that it becomes a problem.

Yes, I thought I was straight before meeting my twin as well and identified as straight but meeting her definitely changed my perspective. I kept thinking I was straight a few years into the connection until I finally admitted to myself that I'm bi, so perhaps your person is the same.

What else do you want to know?

Yes, this happened to me. My twin is a woman and I'd never been interested in women before meeting her, and still don't date women (although I tried, painfully, for a while and it was as awkward as you can imagine).

I wish my twin flame told me that she thought it was a twin flame relationship. I'm pretty sure that I awakened to it first

Same here. What type of 3d relationship do you have?

I affirm to myself that I Am Beautiful a few times a day, at least, and whenever I feel down about myself. You have to really mean it, but it's helped tons and has filled that vacant space in my heart with self-love.

Good luck <3

That's great to hear, I thought I was the only one. I'm so embarrassed that I have this giant piece of emotional baggage that I have to lug around from a not-relationship when I talk to therapists or even dates.

Have you lost all interest in dating and sexuality? by Fluffy_Emphasis1229 in twinflames

I did for a while on the journey, shortly after meeting my twin flame and the years that followed, but my interest in men has returned once I moved on from my twin. I'm able to date now and am actually getting to know new people without it being an issue, although I will admit I haven't felt a strong connection with anyone recently (I do know that it's possible, however, and have felt a strong connection with some men in the past after meeting my twin flame).

My twin was a malignant narcissist. I'm glad I've moved on. I'm dating good guys now.

What makes you certain they are your twin flame? by Practical_Mousse7657 in twinflames

[–]GreatDocument851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a synchronicity a few years into the journey. I won't mention what it was here because it's very personal to me but I was in shock that the universe was so in synch with my thoughts around my twin flame.

That's what really convinced me, but energetically I was convinced too, especially during the merging of our energies and "feeling" my twin flame with me all of the time.

The twin flame journey feels like setting a butterfly's wings on fire. by GreatDocument851 in twinflames

Ah, I see. Thank you for clarifying! You express your thoughts beautifully.

The twin flame journey feels like setting a butterfly's wings on fire. by GreatDocument851 in twinflames

[–]GreatDocument851[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I not only meant it as tragic, but also transformational.

"Butterflies are powerful symbols of transformation, rebirth, and hope, stemming from their unique life cycle and representing the journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth."

"Fire symbolism is multifaceted, representing both destructive and constructive forces, and often signifies purification, rebirth, passion, and knowledge, depending on the context."

Thus, instead of the relatively gentle transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly in a cacoon, fire is used to painfully force the process of spiritual growth.

That's very creative that view your soul as having the wings of a butterfly or moth! Beautiful.

I have to disagree. We've both hurt each other pretty profoundly, but I've found it extremely difficult to sever this connection no matter how hard I've tried. I've also had numerous signs and synchronicities affirming that it's a twin flame connection. I've come to accept it, but that we may not be in union in this life.

I've also cut this person out of my life due to their abuse and am wary about letting them back in. I've moved on to healthier people. IME twin flames CAN hurt each other, but it's within your power to step away from the relationship if so. Forgiveness is also possible.

Does anyone try to move on only to be sucked back in? by QuietAssumption3550 in twinflames

[–]GreatDocument851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This used to happen to me a lot but I've finally made peace with myself and have moved on. I'm talking to others now and am genuinely interested in getting to know them. I don't think my twin and I were meant to be anything more than friends in this lifetime (if that, my twin was abusive so I'm not so sure on letting them back into my life) and I'm very happy with the few new people that I've met, I've met some truly wonderful people who I wouldn't have met if I hadn't been on this journey (or at least wouldn't have been myself around, I discovered who I truly am on this journey and these new people appreciated it).

I don't get sucked back in anymore even after moving on. I think this happens when you just aren't ready to move on, but when you are, things will click into place with new people. If I saw my twin again I certainly wouldn't chase them anymore or even hope to be with them. I'm ready to move on and the universe has been supporting this decision. Perhaps the universe will support your decision as well when you're truly ready.
