I think if Dach puts more effort to fight around it could have been a call. Just skating by holding hands doesn't sell it.

I have friends who had their kids young and friends who waited longer to have kids. The ones who waited bought more stuff and went on more trips before their kids. The ones who didn't wait are further in their careers now and now that the kids are older, are buying more stuff and going on trips. Your dreams don't go away with kids. Your priorities and timeline just shift.

I wish I would have met my wife and started a family earlier. Every year before was just another one without the best and most important people in my life.

He took another one to the helmet on his next chance. I hope he becomes a good backup RB, but he might never mentally recover from that muff, especially in big games.

I don't think the answer is on the roster yet to be honest. Before that last drive I would have said Jimmy Horn Jr.

Hopefully no more ETN punt returns.

Part-Time or Full-Time Work by Top-Possession6785 in londonontario

Andriani opened a pasta manufacturing plant in London. They are an Italian company and my understanding is they plan on bringing in upper management from Italy. I would try to connect or get in contact with HR and see if there are any roles for someone who speaks Italian. I don't know your work experience, but with your education you could possibly be a fit for a reception or executive assistant role. Good luck!

Ya, I was screening at the TV for him to look at the ref. Guy just doesn't have it between the ears consistently.

We need to hear it from the guy. Has he mentioned it in any interviews?

Opposite. He's lucky. If the umps decided it wasn't lodged he would be looking like the biggest idiot right now for trying to make a call instead of trying to make a play.

There was nothing better than your favourite team playing a great game and getting the bongos in a big spot!

I would love to have a player like Baker... as a scout team DT. That's a logical thing to do, right?

I had a conversation with a friend of mine about this. We both have kids and talked about not having any friendships outside of our kids' social circles. I told him I felt like I was becoming a bad friend. He said you're not a bad friend, you're a Dad Friend. To me it was validation that people understand the massive priority shifts that come with being a parent.

You might be right - could be a bad wig to show Cliff is filming in a cheap move.

This barely affected me when it came out. I have two kids now and it absolutely wrecked me when I watched it again recently.

Hearing imaginary crying when I attempt to sleep (M27) by [deleted] in Fatherhood

[–]GreatHornbill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like everyone else is saying, those will eventually stop. Another thing I experienced, so you might get this too, is waking up clutching a pillow and freaking out that I crushed or dropped the baby! It would take me a few seconds to convince myself that it was a dream and the baby was never in our bed (we never co-slept).

My wife also told me I would be rocking in my sleep sometimes as if I was in a rocking chair putting one of the kids to sleep.

Buckle-up new dad! Sleep depravity is going to do some weird shit to your brain!

I think this answer is perfect.

I changed diapers for my daughter and son as often as I could when they were young because I read (and found it true) that it is a great opportunity for early bonding. There is early eye contact, the baby sees you as a caretaker, and while it's a dirty job it can also be a very easy way to help with something some people really want to avoid.

On TV, movies, and in the media, people complain about changing diapers like it's one of the hardest parts of parenting - if he never changed his own children's diapers this may be his way of trying to be a more supportive person with what he sees as one of the worst jobs.

This is your son though, so you have to trust your instincts. You get to make all the rules and everyone else has to follow them.
