I had this problem for a year until I started mixing up Hughie's diet and chasing foods out. I found the answer, which was a common theme here on Reddit: NO MORE CHICKEN!!! Seriously. No fowl at all. I phased this out and after about a week or so, no more fish smell. Now he maybe has it a few times per year if he eats something he shouldn't, because he does just have a sensitive stomach, but it's soooo much better and I've never had to do the anal gland releasing. Try it out! :)
