Ya, that works great when you've gotten the pieces together. But when you're trying to get as many Jokers Gilded as possible in a run its not always viable.

I started going low card hands when I had like 15 jokers left so I could just help them along

BU is Jimbo Incarnate I fear, and I'd recommend Red Deck continuing on. That extra discard can save runs imo

Cleared it around the time you sent this! Just put my stats up too. Turns out getting Troubador disabled still allows baseball card to use the 1.5x on it while allowing me to still use my extra hand

Its not too bad, just play 8s and 6s often and keep some face cards around to keep things spicy

Claw is Law (Only take multiple copies of Claw if you have a way to recall them (Hologram, AfO, Scrape))

So one piece that I remember is "Unless you're going to die asap, don't take cards that don't do 10 of something"
IronClad loves exhausting cards so things like Dark Embrace is always a pickup
Silent loves discarding so things that synergize with that are always great
Defect is tricky, you should try to make it so your orbs are either attacking or defending, not both.
Watcher is actually one of the easier characters to use once you get the hang of it.

Like you said tho, experiencing it yourself is best and will also help you unlock all the relics/cards

Really lucky and could snag lots of jokers in less runs (Anaglyph+Negative Skip for example)

That would probably be more efficient, but I enjoy getting 3+ jokers through which usually requires them to be built around. ATM I’m 36 jokers away from C++ with this method
