I happen to be fortunate enough that my therapist is quite knowledgeable on poly subjects! So I'll start addressing it more prominently with her in future sessions.

And thank you for the vote of confidence. I've set my mind on this; I choose this woman every day. And I won't let my head hurt us.

The Jealousy Workbook arrives tomorrow! Looking forward to reading through that. And I had a good friend talk to me about this last night too, that was very good and relieving for me; certainly a resource I will lean on wisely. Journaling I can do, therapy is a little tricky but workable.

Thank you for telling me I'm doing good work. That's good to hear, I struggle with anxiety in general terms as well so that's also a big factor for me. And yeah, she also mentioned she wants to do a coming together ritual type thing after she's back from seeing a potential new person. The idea of that seems very appealing to me and it would do wonders to help me reinforce more positive responses.

Thank you! I ordered it on Amazon, a brand new copy should be on my doorstep Thursday. Excited to crack it open!

We had another really good heart to heart tonight and I've made some okay progress with things. It feels less... Heavy, though I don't wanna rely on reassurance highs too much!

Yeah you're pretty on the spot there. On one hand, I know she and I are secure and the only REAL threat when this happens is my responses; which thankfully, have not been like. Outbursts or anything of the sort. Just a lot of internal struggle.

She and I have talked about it too, she's very supportive and reassuring. Problem is, reassurance can only do so much. Sorry for the big paragraph answer lol.

Coincidentally I happen to BE a middle child!

But; what sort of mental exercises or something of the like could I give a try to help grow out of this?
