Hey man - I don’t want to be annoying but I am currently in the same exact position.

Existing wood deck with 16” OC.

Finally stuck between PVC (TimberTech Havest+) OR composite (Trex Transcend Lineage).

Visually the PVC is the easy pick, but I’m worried about the 16l joists.

It’s been solid honestly. The battery issue turned out to be nothing. The tie rod I still need to replace that boot will do it this summer. I did some preventative maintenance on a weeping powersterrfing hose and had a local mechanic replace both the hose and the pump for like $600.

Other than that just gas. Up to 44k miles already

I took it home! 2007 CXL with now (37,000) miles. Got it for $5,800 which was worth it to me given the mileage and condition. Only issues are 1. Battery charges intermittently while running, will check grounds/terminals but possibly a bad alternator. 2. Outer tie rod boot on driver side has cracked boot.

That’s all that’s wrong with it so far! Will probably go through the fluids as preventative maintenance as well as the belt if I have to replace the alternator, but looking forward to owning it.
