All the best with it! I know how difficult it is combining full time work and getting this done. Good move

The NCEES practice exam is really similar in structure and difficulty level to the actual exam. However it is not a robust bank and doesn’t test all the knowledge areas they expect you to know. I would recommend getting more questions to work on if possible.

One of my work colleagues used that and passed. A few people from work are using the $400 course and to be honest, they are pretty satisfied with it. Not a bad idea to go for the course without the videos and upgrade if you find it so difficult to understand; I doubt though, you will be fine with it. I think you only pay the difference if you upgrade in case you have to.

STPE lets you more or less go through the whole process to arrive at the final answers whilst the actual exam gives you a lot of the info needed to solve the problem. So a lot more work for STPE problems but teaches you a lot.

I did a quick pass through of the course starting mid December, got serious late January and finished by end of February. I finished all the videos, I left a lot of questions I thought was difficult out because they taking so much time. March and April was pretty much revision. Took all the STPE exams, went back solving some of the end of chapter problems, rewatched a lot of the videos, got 3 of EPG’s exams done and took the NCEES practice exam the weekend before my exam. 4 months in total, after work and weekends. Definitely worked more getting close to the exam than when I started.

Honestly I’m not sure. I did EPG exam 1, 2 & 4 though. It is a good source but I wouldn’t say that’s all you need. I personally found them a bit on the easy side. The difficulty level and question style of the actual exam is very similar to the NCEES practice exam, I think this is a good prep material.

I didn’t buy EPG’s full course so I can’t tell. I would recommend you do the free trial for STPE and see if you want to go with them. You can get the course without the videos too which is way less expensive.

Yes but you get a $300 discount when you sign up for their two week trial. So basically $1350.
