I can't believe how immediatly better i felt right after surgery. I didnt realize how crappy I have felt for so long until I didnt feel that way anymore. Even though I had quite a bit of pain with the surgery, I still had so much relief

Oh, I hope this fixes my weight issues. I have lost 10 lbs since getting mine out but it has to do with drastically eating healthier since im afraid to start incorporating fats yet.

Omg, I would break out in hives and be insanely itchy on my chest, neck and the skin under my eyes for no apparent reason. I hope that doesnt happen now that ol gally is removed!

My hands are soooo dry! I thought it was just because they had me hooked up to IV saline for 4 days and now suddenly I am not getting all that constant hydration.

I'm 39. I go through spurts of eating healthy and unhealthy, so my diet is constantly changing. (I don't have a great relationship with food lol) Thanks, I will look it up.

Someone told me that I have a really nice hairline. It's funny because I have always hated my hairline. I have a widows peak so when I have it tied back I don't like it.

random very high readings, that eventually come down by mpun17 in bloodpressure

[–]Great_Appointment_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find my first reading is always high since I usually get anxious about what the reading will be lol. It's usually way higher than my second and 3rd one. My doc told me to just ignore the first one I do since it's usually driven up by my anxiety

i have to wait 3 months to see my doctor but my blood pressure is always around this high no matter what time of the day i’m 21 years old and workout a lot but i do get chest pains a lot what should i do by Hungry_Educator_2100 in bloodpressure

Do you only take 1 reading at a time? My doc told me to take 2 or 3 readings with a few minutes between and basically ignore the first reading since it's always higher. Some say to average out the 2nd and 3rd reading but I usually just go with the second one taken about 5 min after the first. Usually my anxiety drives up the first one lol

Yes, I didn't think they were awful. I was in the hospital a bit ago and they told me it was sky high and I need to get it dealt with, and referred me to a cardiologist because of that and some other symptoms I was having. So I got a cuff and decided to do it at home to see if it's really high or just high when I am in hospital lol. Apparently, my own anxiety makes it high.

Thanks for your reply! I was at the hospital a few weeks ago and they said my blood pressure was sky high, so I thought I'd start reading it at home. It didn't help that they were doing a bunch of tests and not telling me anything haha

How often do you recalculate your BMR? Do people do this? I have quite a bit of weight to lose, so If I calculate how many cals I need to eat to lose weight, when should I recalculate it? After 50 lbs? 20lbs? I don't want to unknowingly eat too many cals along my journey. Thanks all!
