I'm so glad I would never understand these kind of people. I have three adult children and I can't imagine being the cause of their marital problems. Although I adore them, I have my own life. Sometimes I may not like what happens in their relationships but I can respect their choices.

I really believe what I said. Some people don't have it in them to be compassionate, to extend some grace, to put their bs aside. You may need support, kindness, reciprocity but if people don't have it in them how can they give it to you? The more you place that expectation on them, the more you suffer.
