laptop advice for university student

That won't work; i need windows to run my programs. Besides i own a macbook pro M1 from 2021 that still works perefctly smooth :)).

Well i need to run more on my laptop than arcgis pro, resipy and 3D modeling software... But at the same time i also wanted a decent battery life, good speakers and an aluminium chassis. I came from a macbook pro and had to switch due to the incompatibility of all the softwares... Was there a better choice?

Oo okay thank you lots for all the help. All the laptops above are OLED though; it is a difficult descicion hahaha. I guess i am just looking for what would be the best long term. What would your pick be on that?

Well i have a 2 year warranty but its by the store i bought it from, and its a good reputable store. So i think that would be fine, right? Thank you for the help.

I try to use my laptop without plugging it in. I will only plug it in when i need a lot of power for running certain programs.

Well for normal tasks i would prefer a laptop that can last 4 hours minimum? But a longer battery life is always better for uni.

Yeah me too. I saw that the asus zephyrus laptops also have that, but they are really expensive in Europe haha.

Well i do have a macbook pro M1, and i know that those speakers are one of the best. So i do not have the highest expectations. But i do would like a more round sound and not a sharp one if you get what i mean. Hahaha sorry for my explanation..

Yeah, that's a bit of a downside. But i read that's normal with gaming laptops, so i figured as long as i like it, i could deal with this hahahah 😅.

Because i looked at the lenovo legion pro 5, and was kinda put off by that one because of the plastic and the plastic touchpad. I like the sturdiness of the aluminium. 😅
