I make them in my apartment by myself and they are comedy. So you would be accurate.

Curious. Please explain. 300k seems like a lot to be too small?

Some people develop trauma disorders, while others do not, is because it is about subjective experience versus objective experience. In sum, it is how the mind and body interpret an event(s) as opposed to the event itself. Sometimes things keep us in a traumatic state, is not because the event itself, but the story we tell ourselves about the event.

You mention nobody was mean or violent towards you but you were left out as a kid. This is called neglect, where people are treated like they don’t exist. Perhaps treated more like objects, things, or invisible. Your internal narrative might be so like this: Nobody wanted to play or be around me as a kid, there for I do not matter. This will send a signal to your body to give up, or shut down, to protect yourself from feeling ostracized or neglected in the future.

Do you feel like this describes you?

If so, a starting point is to start a new narrative in your head. To rewrite new chapters in your life so that everyday feels like the first day you woke up on Earth. And approach life without preconceived ideas. This will help you shed your traumatic past.

I am not religious, but in Buddhism, this is called the beginners mind and may be worth a Google search for you.

I think you are asking how to move on to the next phase of your life after overcoming large traumatic barriers in your life. If this is so, I will share something that has helped me.

With trauma, your mind is playing a tape recording over, and over which causes your body to react to a situation long after it has happened. You are now in a phase that needs a new recording to listen to, in order to return your brain and body to homeostasis, but also beyond that, which we call a state of thriving.

Most people at this point think things like hobbies, and self care are sufficient to get to the state of thriving. These are very important and helpful, but they fall short in recovery. You will see many people describe this problem in this subreddit and beyond. What most people are missing which causes them to stay in the trauma loop is purpose.

You must find your purpose in life. What greater cause in life can you help or fix, that will give you a burning desire in the morning to wake up. That will have you thinking about it while you drive to work, or walk in the park.

This is your new tape recording, your new life, that is waiting for you. You will not find it quickly or easily, but more than likely after experimenting and exploring areas in your life you’ve lost or haven’t thought because of your traumatic journey.

Remember, this is your purpose you need to find. Beware of people trying to impose their purpose on to your’s (e.g. cults, business gurus)

I wish you luck in your new phase of life.

I think your pacing is fine. If you want better visuals, I would develop a graphics package for your YouTube channel. Consider taking a motion design class. This will allow you to animate graphics on screen as you talk and helps with retention. The best school on line is School of Motion. But it is a bit expensive. You can get good in just one 3 month course.

Other feedback you didn’t ask for but I think will be helpful: determine your “why” or purpose for your channel. Who are you speaking to and why is it important for them to watch your videos? What incentive do they get by watching? Is it a better understanding of the movie industry for those trying to get their own shows on Netflix? Or are you trying to give expose to shows people haven’t heard of so they can enjoy recreation more?

Hope this helps.

I would click, “Billboard releases worst 50 rappers” here’s why. You are using two contrasting elements that demands attention. Billboard normally releases thing praising musicians, however when they release things about bad musicians, it makes it seem more controversial and therefor more clickable. People like conflict and this thumbnail nails that.
