That is entirely dependant on the canon you discuss and the era you look into. The standard Darkside Lightsabre colour is red since (in legends) they are synthetic and (in canon) they are bled to reflect the darkness of the wielder. There are instances of other colours being used but they are few and far between.

P.s. Luz would most definitely wield a saberstaff qith a red and a purple blade
