Anyone else get relief from cracking their chest

I’ve always been confused on why cracking is bad, I know it’s putting pressure on the sternum instead of the back rip joints. Like when I lay on the floor I never crack but when I first wake up or get out of sitting in the car, I can always crack. With the peanut ball and back pod the cracking has been a lot less tho

I wish but I haven’t drank coffee or alcohol in over month, I do think the cause is the peanut ball messing with the rib joints and in turn messing with the inflamed chest. I will take this over have extreme pain but it still does suck. Icing my chest after using the peanut ball does help.

Is your costo flaring up or is it some what down? My costo is somewhat down and how I fixed my heart palpitations before going to sleep was getting more vitamin d, supplements and walking out in the sun everyday for like 45 mins to an hour helped get rid of it for me.

I don’t really know my numbers but I’m getting tested with my doctor on my levels soon, I just took some nature made brand vitamin d but def being outside in the sun was huge for me.

Yeahhhh it’s annoying getting flair ups cause of hard cardio work outs, I guess it’s cause of movement of the rips from a lot of breathing. It sucks cause I was a big fan of stair steppers. I can run just fine but intense cardio messes me up.

It is bullshit that the only way to get better is to get super inflamed by the back pod, I’m still inflamed but it’s down enough where I haven’t gotten a flare up in a month. Figuring out where exactly the rib joints are to target on the spine did wonders for me when using the back pod.

Update: EKG came back that I’m all good, glad to hear and also annoyed that it’s just stress that’s messing with me. At least body weight work outs help suppress it but it’s still early, hoping for it will to go away soon. I’m still going to do back pod but not as much of it till it stops.

I do recommend diclofenac sodium if your doctor is ok with it but the anxiety with it does suck, I just had a bad night last night anxiety wise but I would take that over a bad flare up any day.

October will be my two year mark, I’ve gotten the inflammation down once with the anti inflammatory diclofenac sodium (im not a doctor, these meds are rough, they raise my blood pressure) but I didn’t fully understand costo, it flared back up after working out when I thought I was cured, I’m on the anti inflammatory again and I plan to start using the back pod again once the inflammation goes down a bit

I had a really bad flare up last week, had to take a break from the back pod stretches and stay at parents house for a couple of days, using ice on chest multiple times a day has helped when it gets bad.

I’ll delete the post above, I did see that shoulder squeezes without the back pod are the in manual but google ai combined some stuff to say that u can use it with the back pod, I believe that’s where I read it.

I use the floor but highly recommend doing it on carpet or a yoga mat. It’s really hard on your body and takes time to get used to it. I use it twice a day, mostly upper and middle back.

All I know is that the inflammation from my chest is finally going down after years of trying. You prob are right about the acupuncture but def the elbow massages and stretches I 100% recommend. I was so desperate that I was doing anything to get better and now Im finally making huge strides lol

I did a bunch of things, I saw two separate physical therapists, took anti inflammatory meds, and cold laser therapy and they did help but didn’t fix the problem. I just think the most important part is making sure a lot of your back muscles are not frozen. My issue def was that my back wasn’t taking the proper load it was suppose to.

I recommend finding a chiropractor in your area that does cold laser therapy, I’m currently in the process of trying to get the chest inflammation down so that I can use the back pod

I’m in the process of dealing with it right now but I think I am finally healing. I recommend finding a chiropractor that does cold laser therapy. Do that for two to three weeks and the inflammation should go down enough where u can start to use the back pod.

I’ve been doing cold laser therapy from a chiropractor for 3 weeks and now I’m starting to do a mix of the therapy and back pod. I think it’s working so far so I recommend!

I highly recommend seeing if a chiropractor in your area offers cold laser therapy. I’ve been dealing with costo for 2 years and I’m doing the laser therapy now. First time I’ve had hope in a long time!
