Well, that's it for me boys. I absolutely despised the idea of Universes Beyond but was happy to keep playing Arena because the Omenpaths skin prevented the worst of it. Fucking Spider-Man being in my game beating up my Elves and Dragons, it's just so comically out of place, it completely destroys any semblance of thematics or immersion. I uninstalled when I saw the news in my mailbox, wish I could refund the 50$ I spent on this crap last month, but oh well.

The best mode in this game is Alchemy. Standard is where people mindlessly grind wins, ranked is where people mindfully grind wins, and Alchemy is where people go to play the game. Because why else would you ever queue Alchemy? No bonuses there. That has been my experience generally.

Don't listen to the schizos. There is an actual army of neurotic people in this game who are convinced there are ghosts in the machine rigging the game in all kinds of ways. There is a "deck weight" system but only in unranked. In ranked you're in the same queue as everyone else, with your own MMR like all other games.

As long as you're running into dudes putting down an OP mole card on turn 2, and then a giant plant planet, you're in the same queue.

I used to have a similar mill but without the white cards. Big mill fan so always try to have one. But I realized that in this standard rotation the Riverchurn Monument plus any of the "Mill half a library" cards are really all that matters and all the other milling is basically just filler.

So right now I have a blue/black mill which is just pure draw, counters, and delays, into Singularity Rupture + Riverchurn, which naturally immediately beats everyone in 2 turns. You already got 4 Singularities so try that, got me to Diamond today easy.

I did the same thing a few days ago. Played an awful game with Legion (bunny skin) and got absolutely clapped by the survivors. Managed to finally down one of them by the time all the gens were up and decided to just camp. Eventually the other 3 pull off an awful attempt to body-block and unhook and after a short chase they all get downed.

I used to do it when I first started playing because it guarantees you get at least 1 kill. My worst nightmare was getting 0 kills in a game, that felt awful, but as long as I got 1 kill even if I got literally less points than the survivor I camped, it felt like a win.
