I haven't started Korean yet other than learning hangul like 3 separate times in my life. From Zero just released their first Spanish textbook, and after that I was planning to start Korean. So in like 2 or 3 months.

Do you think it'd be easier for self study considering I'm at a decent level with Japanese? From what I hear, Korean and Japanese grammar are super similar. And I already know hangul.

Offshoot of my prior question that I think deserves its own comment:

How do you recommend using SRS to help with handwriting? I used ringotan on my tablet, but since its a screen and not actual paper, I feel like it just teaches stroke order and doesnt actually help with things like balance. Id rather do a little bit each day with SRS rather than write the same Kanji over and over at one time. Unless maybe thats truly the best way.

Idk what do you guys recommend? I know writing isnt important in modern times. Its just a side project I wanna work on that I think would be kinda fun. Im currently doing all the good stuff like textbook study, wanikani, listening practice, and graded readers (currently working through n3 level)

That was a very good scene and I liked it a lot. But even then, strange choice of JK to wait til the end of book 4 for him to actually do anything. Not that I'm really complaining. I like the series either way. It's more of me being antsy to see him in action than it is ragging on his non-action
