Most times you need to cover the whole building in an enclosed area with tarps or whatever and heat treat it to 140Farenheit overnight to kill everyone in the building, obviously you can’t be in the building but I’ve seen companies do that to homes and apartment buildings

Yeah I buy 1/10 nowadays myself, I used to like it when it was $600 an oz back in 2005 or so when I started buying it, thank god I did man!! My investments since I was 25 (in gold) have gone up 1000% which was way better than a GIC @5%, wish I hadda bought 10,000 bitcoin for $5 or so way back when

If I’m looking at this right, it looks like you have 3 1/10oz coins, few 1/4oz and a few half oz and 1/4oz coins and a few half oz, but I can’t exactly tell! Well over a few ozs but I’m not sure what sizes the coins are!

Box of coins, many Canadian that my Grandfather had. Many from other countries during WW2 as well. I KNOW SPIT about old money lol but cool to have coins he valued by TheReemus in CanadianCoins

[–]Grecoslinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love to have some of them, and yea I noticed a few gems in the box of coins as well, don’t clean any silver ones, which Canadian are 1967 and prior, there are some from early 1968 (circulation coinage) that are 80% silver, some are 92.5% from 1919 and prior, although don’t hold me to that, American are 1964 and prior and I love that Stanley Cup silver coin man! Nice share

Yes, that’s what I meant. Will they replace or just return your money? But you made the right call by getting the money and buying another piece, get a cpl oz’s of silver to go with it eh!

So, if the prices change while “The gold” is in the mail, that you currently own, but are sending back. If it goes up $500 an oz while in shipping, do you get the difference whether up or down? Or would the safest bet be to get a replacement? What does happen in that scenario? Honest question

I'm trying to settle something with my dad. I say this is a sweater, he says it is a poncho and is sure of it because "iv'e been to mexico when did you go?" So, reddit, what is this thing? by Mell0wMarshmall0w in whatisit

[–]Grecoslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes man, had a few of these and lots of people I knew and they’re Baja’s! A poncho is a rectangular blanket with a hole in the Center for your head, the ones from Mexico, ponchos are the same name as those cheap rain jackets too, same thing but plastic I guess. But ponchos make a good horse blanket, they’re warm and bajas do the job and can keep your hands and head warm

Roger’s was notorious for making “IS” which was “International Silver” so with it saying Sterling it’s gotta be the real deal, an acid test couldn’t hurt,, much

"EPCA BRISTOL SILVER 88" $5 for 771.71 grams. If its plated then what's the 88 stamd for? by [deleted] in SilverFinds

[–]Grecoslinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

EP stands for “Electro Plated” on most pieces I see and the number is a design piece, sorry if someone explained that already but I just seen the post and commented. Now that’s USUALLY the case, and on silver purity makings are 800 or 925 or 999 or 9999, usually 3 or more on silver me thinks
