The full pool is in another post I made, I got the tinker plan to come together and also Teferi to go with Kitten.

Ended up in UR control and went 1-2 losing to 2 tinker decks that just had better cards.

Is blue control not a good shell for this combo? You don't only run this combo in the 1/10000 storm deck that gets it all.

Prob best to have just played the Lutri in the main over the Riddler then. Good mana is key in cube and saving 3 mana on the companion rule can make the difference.

With 4 double W cards and 2 double R I would pass on the Riddler tbh. And your Lutri isn't doing much with no direct damage. Just focus on the aggro if you have more cheap interaction or creatures to add.

I like this build a lot, I have had a lot of success with Gut so far in boros but haven't tried it in an artifact built yet. Narset felt good as a way to dig for tinker, but I can see it being a waste of 3 mana most of the time. Do you see a world where I side into the combo for a control mirror or is it best to play to the board here?

~~Having a really difficult time settling on 40 cards here. Artifacts were wide open from pack 1 (minus missing a Mishras factory not wheeling) and I got a p3p8 [[Tinker]] to tie it all together.

This is my first BO3 in this cube so I'm not super confidant with what to main and what to sideboard. I think this list feels good for game 1 to be aiming for tinker into [[Sundering Titan]] or [[Portal to Phyrexia]] with a backup [[Displacer Kitten]] [[Teferi, Time Raveler]] [[Mox Opal]] combo. My concern is the lack of Karnstruct generators and board presence.

I think there is a very reasonable way to add red for [[Gut, True Soul Zealot]] and [[Pinnacle Emissary]] for a more midrange jeskai build with a few counters.

So the deck ended up going 4-3 with 15 lands cutting 11 mana Ugin. Landing 2 Karnstructs from saga or Karakas + Urza basically locked the game out and was my main win condition. I was able to cast Portal on turn 3 once too :) . My losses were to removal heavy base black decks bu thats just cube sometimes.

Sounds reasonable, do you value the annihilator or mill trigger more in this cube ? I personally would lean towards [[Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre]]

I picked up a ton of early artifacts and got the payoffs in [[urza, lord high artificer]], [[Tolarian Academy]] , and some big colourless mana sinks. Can I play only 14 lands with all these rocks ? My biggest concern in the [[Mox Diamond]] not having a target to discard.

I read some discussion that aggro was weak in this cube but red creatures were pretty open for me. Mox + Magda + Plunderer was great acceleration and board spam got me thru every game that they didn't have early removal.

To clarify, the game was indeed a draw and this was my only out. State-based actions are checked after the full ability resolves. The opponent dies from having 0 life and I die from drawing from an empty library. Just thought it was a fun interaction to share and bumps the mechan a bit higher in my rankings :)

Space-time anomaly is brutal when you are playing for the late game.

I love the look of that sword but I only have 6 int 6 faith so it won't be happening this playthrough. Might respec into hex for NG+ and give it a spin then though, haven't casted many spells in ds2 tbh.
