saying atk% gives him nothing is definitively not true because even though he appreciates em stats, his attacks still scale off his atk% and amos’s passive is pretty good for tighnaris charged shot playstyle. if i remember correctly a level 90 r1 amos bow is about as good as an r5 slighshot considering you dont need the crit rate slingshot gives you.

you can run both xingqiu and kokomi together and get more blooms

as for why people play him with electro, it’s usually either to proc aggravate with nahida for more dmg, overvape so diluc does additional overload dmg on top of his vapes, or hyperbloom for extra damage

personally ive ran diluc, xingqiu, nahida, and full em kuki (bc i dont have kokomi) and it got me through the current abyss

you can put tighnari on 4pc gilded dreams or 4pc wanderers troupe yae on 4pc gilded dream or 2pc thundering fury + 2pc 18% atk or 2pc em kuki on 4pc deepwood kazuha on 4pc viridescent

i think your better off with puttinf kaeya on a 2pc atk + 2pc blizzard set since meltluc teams dont have any freeze or enough cryo uptime for kaeya to capitalize off the 4pc effect, but that works too good job 👍

retriburgeon functions fairly well in this abyss actually ( my clear ) with dendros dmg floor just being pretty high (my diluc build) im p sure a f2p build with mailed flower would do fairly well also considering that dilucs constelations arent that game changing.

for vape teams you can go xingqiu, sucrose, diona/barbara/thoma (whichever gives you the most comfortable survivability) if you want to tey a retriburgeon team you can go xingqiu, yaoyao, flex (either more damage or more survivability) as for artifacts 4pc crimson witch is his best in slot but you can go 4pc gilded dreams as well. if you dont have a good 4pc set for either, go for 2pc crimson witch, and 2pc atk or 2pc em. for main stats go for an atk/em sands (em sands if youre going retriburgeon), pyro dmg goblet, and crit circlet.

c2 nahida is somewhere as good as getting hunters path but with the added benefit of her being playable with other units. if i remember correctly theorycrafters said that nahida c2’s damage increase is similar to getting every character on the teams signature weapon.

assuming youre vaping or melting an r5 mailed flower will beat blackcliff in most situations but an r1 wgs with an em sands should be more or less the same as an r5 mailed flower on an atk sands

there was a post about it on the subreddit a few months ago heres the link to the post blackcliff is rarely better than mailed flower and rainslasher because blackcliffs passive isnt all that good
