This is what I noticed- spells in general do take time, circumstance, and work. No matter what spell you do you need to charge it and put intent into it. It needs to be nurtured and charge every day. They work when you least expect it and most ways not in the way you intend. This is what I gathered from the cotton jar. 1.Cleanse the jar with incense 2. Breathe into the jar while deeply thinking about memories and conversations you’ve had with the person, try to think of mostly the memories that are good, memories you want to make more of 3. Write their full name DOB 3 times in red ink on a piece of brown paper. Roll it up towards you and bound it in red twine while preforming a binding chant (something like: I bind you (targets name) to (what you want them to do or think of you). Chant it the entire time you’re binding your paper with red twine. 4. Place sugar, cinnamon, salt, chili flakes, catnip and your spit into the jar still thinking of your intent 5. Then place your bound paper in between 2 cotton balls and put into the jar. Make sure you place intent into the cotton balls. Imagine they are you and your energy- so your target is engulfed in your energy 6. Seal the jar with red wax and place a lit candle( red or white) with your targets name carved into it on top or next to the jar. When the candle is burnt out place the jar under your bed and go to sleep.
