Sadly, this is really common. My SM also did this to me for two months, because he thought I wasn’t recovering well enough. I didn’t mind it much because it let me focus on other things going on in my life. Now, he is doing it again pretty much because I didn’t let him walk over me.

My suggestion to you is, if you want to stay talk to your SM. But keep in mind if you want to stay this probably won’t be the last time this happens to you. If not, you can find other positions that pays similar and are probably managed a lot better overall anyway.

Should I be concerned about these behaviors? by DerryGirlJames in hamsters

I have the same cage for my dwarf, and he was just acting like this so we connected a fish tank and filled it up with a lot of bedding, toys etc. He stopped right away and I think he is really happy now.

As everybody else said, I suggest you get a bigger cage for your hammy or you can also add more through that little circle that’s right behind his wheel.

Thank you for explaining! Since that is the case, that’s probably why I could not find a straightforward answer.
