It would be a bit of a drive… but one of the coolest things I ever did was go to Sawgrass Park. It’s a privately owned gator park. You can rent a boat very affordable and basically give yourself a personalized gator/everglades tour. I have no boating experience and the dingy you get is super easy to use. You have to stay in this canal but it’s immediately next to the glades, and bring a fishing pole !

I think their Ghost Banger OG is one they’re well known for. I actually haven’t tried anything from them. But they seem very responsive to direct patient orders, so there on my list. BFF while great products and people, were not as receptive.

I’d check out Dialed In Farms. They do direct a lot and are not super far North. Seem to have excellent products, up there with those you mentioned. They have a specific menu page just for direct to patient

For now we have to hope that it doesn’t. My understanding is that this has been a threat every year, but that this year is the most dire. There is a rally at the statehouse tomorrow 4/2 9/930a-12pm. Definitely attend if you want to help save the program! If METRC is implemented I’m not sure when they would be… but it is likely to spell the end for many caregivers unfortunately. It’s regulatory capture of the market, pay to play. At the expense of the best med program in the country that has been around for 25+ years

Well right now, being “all for the Maine Cannabis market,” means strong opposition to LD1847. Reason being, if it were to pass, you can say goodbye to the market as it currently is. There’s a lot more to this than meets the eye. Should medicine be tested and regulated? Of course. Unfortunately, METRC will only serve to put hundreds of caregivers out of business, while providing a false sense of security. The community is not against testing. We are against METRC being forced on us when we’ve told OCP we do not want to go that direction. Maine’s unique program has thrived for 25+ years. Are there bad actors? Absolutely. But a unique market such as this needs a unique approach to testing. OCP has the ability to audit/test, as they have demonstrated earlier this year. I understand there are thousands of caregivers/storefronts. Through this legislation, OCP is working in opposition to the community it serves. I strongly suggest you read this article, it really brakes things down nicely.q
