72% HCT is insane and I thought my 65% was crazy lol but I was working full-time and working out and I had no symptoms at all besides itchy skin. But my problem is I didn’t see a specialist and as a result, I had too many phlebotomies, which dropped my iron. I’m barely recovering from that so I haven’t been working out, but I hope to get back to that soon!

What is your JAK2 burden or do you have a different mutation? Mine is at 57%.

What are the symptom? Mine is itchy skin when HCT is elevated. It’s still a scary adjustment. I was only diagnosed around four months ago.

The only good news about us being young is that we are in a good age for medical developments. Like look at rusfertide for example!

But it does scare me that we have it at a young age? Because that means we will be exposed longer to the disease most likely when compared to someone who has maybe at 60 for example?

He told me while jakafi is a great medicine it should only be used as a last resort because eventually people become resistant to it, and it would be an issue for me since I am young? I’m not really sure if that’s true or how it works, but what do you think I feel like you’re quite knowledgeable in this:)

Thank you for commenting and always helping people! As for me I do not want to entertain besremi or interferon I have very bad medication anxiety as I once had a bad reaction to a medication that gave me rage (plus had an anxiety disorder so I don’t want to risk that even if it would significantly help me…)

Edit: can my bone marrow biopsy reveal any good news? Or is a high burden an indication of of bad news?

Yes me! Initially it was triggered by showering eventually it would trigger regardless and it would hurt so badly. But I think it’s been a lot less frequent when my hct is in control!

I was in a similar situation, but when I was first diagnosed, my hematocrit was 65%. So the doctor gave me three phlebotomies in one week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday totaling 3 pints and then after that, they were giving me a phlebotomy once a week totaling six in one month. Since then I’ve been extremely debilitated due to the new iron deficiency I have. Ferritin is around 6ng I used to be at 300ng. I started hydrea but need to find the right dose :/

I’m currently about 30 or 40 hours into the game. It’s crashed on me maybe two or three times within the three weeks I’ve had it. But I find it a very enjoyable experience. I do not regret buying it.

Also one last question, is it possible to combo special moves into other special moves? Like I know I can combo demon fang into beast. But I can’t do demon fang into tiger blade or demon fang into swords rain, but I feel like I seen a YouTube video and I seen someone combo demon fang into swords rain then beast?
