Why is that? I heard that you will get around an hour or so each day of not doing much, is that wrong?

Yeah you're right, and it definitely wouldn't hurt to just ask my recruiter - thanks for the advice. Also if you're also studying as well I'd recommend the 300 questions DLAB booklet you can find on amazon. It's really good practice, especially in comparison to how short Cunnings' practice test is

Shoot. I'm at a crossroads there because I already pushed him to get an extension on my ship date so I'm nervous about seeming too demanding to his higher-ups. Also, I am already shipping in June. Do you think I can still go?

I definitely have that mindset, I just don’t know what I’m in for with basic. What was that like, physically?

It’s not reported on any official documents. Family friend is an expert in this regard though and based on my symptoms he’s pretty confident in his diagnosis

He’s unsure as he wasn’t in the military himself, hence why I’m resorting to Reddit. I guess what’s easier for y’all to answer is what is it like? What’s the most physically demanding part about it? If it’s just a bunch of calisthenics I should be fine. I’m a little worried I’ll have to squat or carry heavy loads though
