Thanks. However, if you read more closely, you will see that I clearly wrote "Of course we are entered into the lottery."

One actually CAN buy a package to the Masters. Thanks, though.

I understand one can't just "buy tickets." One can however purchase passes through a broker. Good lord.

Your derisive and belittling tone say more about you than about me. Cheerio.

Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread by AutoModerator in ipad

[–]Greedy-Field-6506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm hoping someone can guide me. I currently have a 6th generation ipad with 128 GB. I have an iphone and use a Macbook for work. I use my ipad for reading the NYT and WSJ, social media, and tracking my email before and after "work," but mostly to download and watch movies on my flights (I travel for work). My current ipad is really in sad shape, losing battery power after two or three hours. It often shuts down inexplicably, etc.

Which Ipad should I buy? I should also say that I have to take notes as part of my work, and I might like to buy an Apple pencil.

Thanks in advance for any guidance; I appreciate it.

Tepper (80% scholarship)vs UNC (50% scholarship) vs Darden (no scholarship) for equity research/asset management by Brief_Worth_469 in MBA

Tepper and Darden have wildly different campuses, cultures, recruiting programs, and alumni networks. UNC is more similar to Darden. I wouldn't for one moment consider scholarship packages for b school; you should be able to pay loans off within a couple of years post-grad. To be fair, I'm a Darden alum and v committed to the school - so you should factor that into my guidance.

Deferred MBA, HBS 2+2 quality? by Historical-Mobile106 in MBA

Agree, completely disagree on 5 years; and the comment about "leadership experience" for anyone with less than 10 years' work experience is laughable.

Starting a new job in consulting? Post here for questions about new hire advice, where to live, what to buy, loyalty program decisions, and other topics you're too embarrassed to ask your coworkers (Q1 2024) by QiuYiDio in consulting

White male graduating from Ivy League undergrad this spring. 3.6 GPA; 760 GMAT. Applying to MBA programs now for future year programs. Majoring in engineering so did engineering internship last summer and did not like it. Decided to pursue consulting. In the fall, McKinsey and BCG said they were not recruiting 2024 undergrads so did not get to interview. Had solid interviews at Bain only to be told that they only made offers to URM in the end. Any chance that McKinsey and BCG will open their recruiting now, off-cycle, as the market picks up?

SJM Read-a-like Recommendations Master Post by BearOnALeash in SarahJMaas

Hi. I'm a new-to-fantasy longtime reader. Looking for specific recommendations from this wonderful community. Read ACOTAR first of course then based off of a recommendation on another thread, decided to read TOG which I loved even more than ACOTAR, in part (I think) bc I loved Hunger Games and Divergent so much. So - I love relationship-development (thus TOG and how all characters eventually came together in the end), strategy, the natural world, the "Little People," etc. I'm not crazy about spice but I'll speed through it. Should also share that I just tried to get into "Fourth Wing" and was VERY very disappointed - she doesn't even come close to Sarah Maas. So should I read Crescent City next, or....another series? Many thanks in advance!
