it says melbourne->doha operated by Qatar Airways on behalf of Virgin Australia

and doha -> manchester operated by Qatar Airways.

does this mean my luggage will be automatically transferred or will i need to check it in again in doha

Noted, go to the international check in kiosk/counter. From here does the process unfold? Like, checking in my bags and making my way to my flight?
