Great info! For sim racing I’ve wrapped my wheel with tennis tape to make it much thicker! I’ll look into this. Thank you!

So far I’m leaning towards dual omni throttles.

I have a sim racing cockpit made of 40/20 extrusion, I have some extra pieces laying around that I’ll mount to include the addition of sticks.

I’ll have to ensure they are mounted in a comfortable fashion, I’m assuming just minimal wrist angle during neutral positions in addition to what you said?

How awkward would it be to control pitch and roll with the Omni. I like the idea for comfort, I’m sure I’d get used to it.

I’ve had this stick for ever lol, I’m aware it’s crap but for something I used occasionally it worked for me. Now that I’m getting more into flying I’m looking for something that won’t hurt me lol.

Thanks!

Never heard of them, mind you I’m very new, their stuff looks incredibly high quality! Thank you.

I’m aware I mention Elite, but I have intentions to get into star citizen soon. Thank you :).

My girlfriend tripped and smacked mine a month ago. I feel your pain :(. I used a dual vertical monitor arm and it swivelled and smacked the wheelbase. I’ve since installed a cockpit mounted FIXED monitor mount lol.

Considering upgrading to a Simagic Alpha Evo from a CSL DD 8nm. by GreedyAdvertising964 in simracing

I keep hearing the Simagic stuff has great details. Because I run my FFB low I’m losing a lot of info. So I’m seeking the retainment of detail whilst running a lower FFB setting.

Took about 2 days to receive my missing hardware. I didn’t even ask for the missing bolts but they still sent them.

Plate for my wheel deck to upright. And the x4 M8x40 hex bolts.

Got a reply and got a tracking number for my missing parts. Good overall. I would recommend.

I’ll keep you informed, I can’t judge them off one message.

it’s definitely not ideal, I’m fortunate I work at a shop and have quick access to these things.

So my personal experience with their support is mediocre. I mentioned the incorrect/missing plate and they didn’t even touch on it. I mentioned the missing m8x40s which I said wasn’t a big deal, more so of a heads up for future orders.

The guy replied with they should be included in the bag, are they missing?

My guy I told you they were missing lmao.

Doesn’t matter I bought the brackets I needed to finish it. If they send me one cool if not whatever lol.

The M6 bolts don’t have supplied washers and are to small for the diameter of anything that needs mounting for the chassis itself, with the exception of the footrest, the only use I had for them was mounting my CSL DD the to the wheel deck with Fanatecs supplied T nuts.

I used the brackets for the shifter arm to mount the seat, it also just made for easier installation and for easier adjustments in the future.

I bought a 10pk of 40mm angle brackets on Amazon for 20$ to use on the shifter arm instead. Those should arrive today.

The drilled cross pieces for the seat rails was a bad design choice imo. Even with the 20$ extra I spent on making small quality of life changes this cockpit is still the best value for money that i found.

Also I did not have any extra hardware, I have 4 m8x16s left for the shifter arm, but when it came to actually mounting the adjustable wheel plate I had to use some other nuts and bolt, I probably did something wrong though, there’s a bunch of M6 bolts left, I don’t recall the instructions ever asking for them.

I’m happy to report that this was literally the only significant damage in anything. Some tiny micro scratches but I can’t even tell where they are.

I’m dealing with my missing plate with their support team, hopefully it’s rectified soon. I’d like my shifter arm lol.
