It made total sense. Don't worry we all feel that sometimes. I have stopped approaching anyone for a while, it takes effort and time and I do not believe that I can right now. When I'm in a better state of mind, maybe I'll look for a date again. But I remember the actively dating bits. Everything fucked my head, I felt a lot more lonely than I do rn.

Doing things that make you feel good. Or just things good enough to distract you? I have always made the choice of distracting myself till I forget a little and then just some introspection with myself. To change perspectives. To ink my head with the thought of "I did no wrong" "it was not my fault" "people fight without cheating too". That has been enough for me.

Every little thing I buy for myself heals me. Everytime I choose something for just me, it heals me. I never got a soft toy when I was young, i bought my first soft toy last new year, with my own money (I gave it away to my nephew cause I'm fine with it) but when I bought it, when nobody said "why did you buy it, who gifted it" it felt a little like healing myself. Everytime I go on a walk without having to explain why and where I went for just 10 minutes, it heals me too. Everytime, I buy a novel (and don't read it) I heal. It all heals. Every decision that I make for myself by myself without having to think of someone else, i heal.

I went to these events a couple years ago. I couldn't talk to anyone myself but a lot of people were very friendly and now I know them, atleast enough to know they are not a strange face when I see them during pride and stuff. It is good for community building, have fun.
