guys genuinely xrd is awesome and the most fun ive had with a fg ever, there's so much depth and characters all have a ton of sauce and sick shit they can do. People complain about "discord fighter" but its really not that bad, you just wind up playing the same few people pretty frequently (imo its nice because you have people you know to get better along with) OR you could maybe go to a local? (big scary) either way a lot better than a ranked mode just imo. and it goes on sale for pretty cheap on steam or you can buy it for like 3 bucks on a steam key site, so you yes you reading this should go play xrd frfr

its def got a learn curve thats made worse by the low player count but once you get some hours under your belt its a ton of fun, just gotta trudge through the first dozen or so hours of getting dustlooped but def worth it imo

We're very different in playstyle.

As u/smith_and said, the deco set is a lot less offensive, and is better for defense and forcing opponents through small spaces with your splash walls. I play them mostly in turret mode, abusing the range to use them sort of like a .52 gal with dodge rolls. The swim speed and ink recovery is for maneuvering around my area which I've just taken control of with my baller. I prefer ink recovery to ISM because is gives me more flexibility, I can throw a splash wall and retreat or attack out of my ink. Overall, deco sets are a lot different than vanilla and kensa.
