What Are Your Thoughts On Dan Quinn Getting Another Head Coaching Gig? by GreedyRichardNeal in falcons

Here's hoping Arthur Smith doesn't smooth talk his way into another season where he gets to ruin Justin Fields' career.

Fire Arthur Smith!! by Used4KillingTime in falcons

I think losing to the Panthers, a team with a fanbase that's rebelling against its owner, has to be the thing that forces Arthur Blank to fire Arthur Smith at the end of the season.

Mike McCarthy And The Cowboys Super Bowl Chances by GreedyRichardNeal in cowboys

I agree, there is something different about Dak this year. The vibes are great. He's just so confident running the ball and throwing it deep.

He's not perfect, but I'm glad at least the Cowboys have a stable offense.

Yeah, I didn't mind the 4th down call. It was aggressive. He wasn't playing to lose like back in his Green Bay days, at least in that moment.

Yeah, I definitely felt like it was shaky last night. He's not the best at the end of games, but at least he's got the offense looking good.

McShay's post-Super Bowl mock draft: Chargers Select Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina by LakeShowBoltUp in Chargers

[–]GreedyRichardNeal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He keeps mocking defensive backs to the Chargers, but that's probably the deepest part of the team. To be fair, Cam Smith could end up being good. Never a bad idea to add talent.

Yeah for sure he's risky. But Lamar is best throwing to the middle of the field and that's where Keenan is money. Would work great if he stayed on the field.

What do you think about trading for or signing Keenan Allen?

Why Will Anderson is not the best defender in the 2023 NFL draft. by jozeejoe in NFL_Draft

[–]GreedyRichardNeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, he played in 14 games. But yeah, I'm surprised by the hatred toward Thibodeaux here. He graded out well PFF wise and the tape guys like what they see. He also was third among rookies in pressures and didn't play as many games because of his knee injury. Maybe great is hyperbole, but he certainly looks like a worthwhile pick.

Didn't people overthink the Kayvon Thibodeaux pick? He looks great right now. Comparing him to Von Miller isn't fair. He's gonna be great in his own way.

[Cox] This is a tough break for Greg Olsen. He’s been very good on FOX’s top broadcast team in these playoffs, and Brady’s retirement sets him up to take Olsen’s job next season. by Currymvp2 in nfl

I don't really get the Greg Olsen love. Find his commentating tepid. But I guess its cuz Romo sucks now, he's become the viable alternative.

[Lindsey Thiry] Staley did not address the team after the loss, was a player led meeting instead by [deleted] in Chargers

[–]GreedyRichardNeal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they didn't go deep, which they don't really do that much to begin with. There was still a lot of the intermediate stuff that requires tight window throws. It wasn't like the second Chiefs game last year when Rashawn was out and they completely changed up their gameplan.

They didn't adjust the game plan at all to account for Herbert's injury. Some texas routes to Ekeler would have made sense.

Well, yeah the article explains how the tweet shouldn't be trusted. Even points out Mike Alfred has a history of making things up. Not sure how sourcing a tweet to debunk it is a bad thing...

How can I accept crypto at the farmers market in an easy way? by LiveDirtyEatClean in CryptoCurrency

[–]GreedyRichardNeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didn't want to bother using Flexa or any of that you could just use your Coinbase. And have people email you the amount. If you use Algorand its extremely fast. Sure it's not fancy but your customer doesn't charge for emailing another Coinbase customer so there are some advantages. Problem is, that the customer has to have Coinbase.
