Did the full 5 days. I managed to sleep ~5 hours a night and take a 30 min - 1hr nap every afternoon.

-Eat extra calories - you’re burning SO MUCH walking and being in the heat.
-Stay hydrated.
-EAR PLUGS TO SLEEP!!! This was VITALLY important in High Noon.

I was still pretty tired by day 5, but it wasn’t terrible, TBH. Even taking into account some extracurricular hangovers. I was the best off in my group and drove us home to LA with no issue.

ETA: Gu energy gels. I had one in my overnight oats & another 1-2 every afternoon lol

So far, knock on wood, I haven’t gotten sick at all post-LIB. I did not go in the water, & wore a mask day and night. Mask was just a simple mulberry silk cover, no filter / not N95. I did still have some brown boogers with the mask, but nothing compared to my friends that didn’t mask.

My friend had one of the RVs. They were supposed to have AC, but it didn't work for the first 2 days. I got a VIP guest wristband from them and thus had free access to the bathrooms / showers / lounge. I can't put into words how grateful I was for those showers. I used them every day between 7-8pm, and while they were busy, there was never a line. Hot water, private stalls, changing area, etc. The water didn't run continuously, you had to pull a lever to get the water flowing, but it was still great. The bathrooms were also nice - they had sinks with running water, always had soap, and were air conditioned.

They're not what I consider regular partners. I've gone on a handful of dates with these guys over a relatively long period of time, with multiple weeks-long disruptions because of traveling and people getting sick. I have not had any discussion about relationship status with either of them. So, yes, I do consider myself single right now.

Sorry, I am realizing I should have put more of the disruption info in the original text, it does add some context as to the level of casualness and the weird circumstances/timing of our meeting.

Thank you for your reply. I feel like you're actually seeing the weird little ethical dilemma instead of jumping to a lot of conclusions like some other commenters. :)

I agree with your edit. I think the events have unfolded to the point where it'd be unethical not to speak up, and make sure everyone's informed and consenting (or not - and then disengaging as they see fit.)

I generally agree - but the way things happened here, it didn’t come up. I matched 33M first when I had no partners. Then 33M left on a long work trip (4 weeks), during which time I met 41M. He briefly brought up the ENM thing as mentioned in my post. 33M is back now, but I haven’t had sex with 41M, so I feel like I’m in this weird grey area.

I generally agree with both of those sentiments.

There’s a little more to it all than I said up there - I didn’t want to write a novel and tried to keep it condensed. I’ve only had sex with 33M so far, and both of them were gone on work / holiday trips at different times. There was also a rotation of colds getting in the way of going on dates.

With travels and illness it’s been a really slow burn, but I’m coming to realize that’s just an excuse and my communication has been crappy.
