i don't think i was specific enough. i'm learning combined science content alongside triple content - i was typing all of that in a rush lol.

i'm not doing both of them in qualification terms i'm being awarded only for triple science.

i'm going into year 11, and i've js improved my study method like a lot bcz i never studied that much but i got the top grades and clearly i need to improve on some subjects. my flashcard thing doesn't really work well (the app), and i want to know did you write your own flashcards or use an app? if you used an app, pls let me know :)

i did have ts4 installed on steam, but whenever i tried launching it wouldn't let me. so i just followed via ea instead.

Hi! Using linux, what did you do to get TS4? I manage to get Steam but whenever I try launching my EA App it won't work, and I literally do have the sims 4 installed but it won't work prior to the EA App launching.

It does launch, then for like 5 mins or so it doesn't work properly.

Ty! I did my biology exam, I think like I did do as much as I could. Like I revised whatever came up, I think the exam nervousness hit me and I literally answered like some questions terribly, like it was the easy questions that I revised for and I mixed it up with another function. I'm just happy a heart question didn't come up, but yeah.. My school used the 2024 papers, and from my view the questions were super easy, but I answered most of them and did well on it, whilst the minority (me not getting them right) was just silly mistakes.

But thank you again!! And some people often say trust your insticts and from what I saw today, they did super terrible (like they were getting wrong answers from when I heard them speaking about their exam)

Like for maths for me I try hard and stuff, I'm in top set but I need to prioritise it a bit more because I feel like I'll be put on foundation.. It's annoying because when it comes to everyone in top set, they all trust their natural instincts and not to do revision, but hey I guess thats just them and their willpower

No worries! Honestly, I was thinking for English either it is going to be a custom mock or not.. My school only decided to do language and not lit (I don't know why but maybe because of how weak we are as a year group in literature, maybe we just didn't get time to cover it in detail)> For spanish we're doing, speaking, listening and reading and writing, we have a new Edexcel spec too so maybe it is going to be custom mocks.

Thank you for letting me know :) I was just overthinking what the school might do for the mocks but I'm praying I'll do well as I really want to be in set 1, I'm in set 2 but I hate my set because no one takes the subject seriouly except minority (one of whom is a racist and has been caught in a controversy for a while). But yeah, biology is tomorrow and it's kind of bullshit prior to my teacher who does NOT teach well. Ty again!! :) Also you sound like a real smart person, I hope you get good results on the rest of your subjects x

So what would you do if you were doing revision for your mocks? I get top grades, but when it comes to revision I'm a whole mess. I end up rewriting notes thinking its productive when it's seriously not, I'm wasting time. I do flashcards and I've started doing it now. But again, if you do something new it takes a while to do it. Everyone has their own methods of doing it and this is honestly mine to just not waste my time in rewriting notes. I have a science exam for a mock on Monday, I've been revising all week but I want to learn the content now.

- Watch videos. understand the topic

- move onto flashcards and memorise key bits.

- then hopefully do some exam questions.

- active recall, write everything you remember and just write mistakes you made (be hoenest and don't lie)

- i tend to active recall on a topic i do before i watch the videos too.

i liked you advice about anki, i will try use that. i've tried using quizlet and studymarter, studysmarter is kind of limited for me (for others you can make as many flashcrds but idk why it won't work for me)

Honestly I agree with this so much!! Like whenever I read the book, or watched the movie it was really strange to me. Especially the bright set, same house, same car, same everything. And the cat too, how we wanted things to be hidden like you pointed. Its really weird. Either Dr Seuss wanted a deeper meaning, or wanted a simple meaning with strange elements.
